Running a dynamic virtual community requires supervision, equipment, technical expertise and manpower. STARFISH Advocacy Association(SAA) has moved quickly to develop the necessary infrastructure needed to ensure access for the many parents and caregivers of children with neurological disorders. However, for us to continue to grow and be successful, we need every member of the community to contribute to the community and support the mission of SAA.

It is the belief of SAA that we can generate the necessary support for the organization through the POWER of ONE (a philosophy that if every person donates $1.00 and tells 10 people who each donate $1.00 and this repeats itself, that you can raise 1 MILLION dollars in 30 days) and that the membership of STARFISH will show their support of the organization by giving what they can!

If SAA makes a difference in your family's life, please consider becoming a supporter of the STARFISH community. SAA believes that it can be self supporting and funded by the community for its daily needs. SAA leadership is in the process of sending out grant proposals to support program development. For SAA to be successful we must also recieve support from within the STARFISH community to cover the cost of operations by 60%. SAA needs to raise $50,000 dollars to cover operations in 2009.
